Founded in 2011, we work with social transformation.
Institute C is a non-profit social organization that operates in the city of São Paulo, together with families with children and youth in situations of social vulnerability to build their autonomy and awareness of their rights and duties.
We seek to work with each family, offering tools to foster a positive environment that develops the potential of each family so that they can achieve a more independent life. Our work is preventive and proactive, based on the defense and guarantee of social rights, actively.
We work with families through the welcoming of families, guidance, referrals, articulation with the care and intersectoral network, conversation circles to strengthen ties, information, communication, and mobilization for citizenship. All projects developed by Institute C involves embracement, qualified listening, and multidisciplinary and network work as fundamental values.
We divide our action into two projects
PAF – Family Action Plan and Networked Citizenship. Both have different objectives, target audiences, and activities, but share one mission: Encourage families with children and youth in social risk situations to achieve their full autonomy and citizenship.
