Parliamentary Amendments

A parliamentary amendment is a way for members of Congress to allocate part of the public budget to actions and projects that address community needs. For Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), this represents an opportunity to fund social initiatives and strengthen their impact.

At Instituto C, these resources help expand and improve support for families in situations of vulnerability, ensuring the continuity of our actions and strengthening our programs and projects, always in line with our methodology.

Instituto C is currently implementing or has already implemented the following parliamentary amendments:

Caring for Atypical Mothers Project

The project seeks to promote the autonomy and quality of life of atypical mothers in situations of social vulnerability in the city of São Paulo, through emotional support, guidance on rights, and referrals to health, education, and social assistance services. The initiative strengthens community support networks and expands access for these mothers and their children to opportunities that ensure equity and social inclusion. A total of 100 mothers and 100 children and adolescents with disabilities, ASD, rare syndromes, or other conditions requiring continuous care will be served, prioritizing families with limited access to basic rights and overburdened by the lack of support, with special attention to Black, Indigenous, peripheral, immigrant, refugee, and LGBTQIAPN+ atypical mothers.
